Blog is a combination of individuality and commonality, and is also the integration of knowledge filtration, knowledge accumulation and knowledge communication, which meets the basic characters of library too. Common spirit and purport make blog be in harmony with library enterprise naturally and accelerate the development of library enterprise on a new level.Numerous libraries overseas have already built their own platforms of blog, while more librarians have personal blogs, on which there are quite a lot of correlative studies. However, the application of blog in libraries is extremely infrequent and theoretical researches are still at the start stage in China, although a growing number of experts, scholars and librarians are holding professional blogs on their specialty spontaneously.
