The plasma technology is considered to be one of the technologies that have the bestadvantage in the field of treatments with pollutions. The plasma has high treatment efficiencybecause of its high temperature and excellent conductivity for heat to pollutions, especially topollutions which have peculiar requests and be difficult to deal with. That direct-current arcdischarging is one of the main methods of producing plasma. Making use of contravariantpower source, the high-frequency transformer and voltage feedback device, electric currentfeedback device can get us the heavy direct-current which is fit for the volt-amperecharacter of electric arc,so it is possible to gain a stable and high-effect plasma source by thefact that the electric arc discharges, in the field of treatments with pollutions.Though the hard switch contravariant technology does not have a series of good functionas the soft switch contravariant technology which is on the rise recently, strong point, it is stilloccupying important position industry application field because of its mature appliedtechnique and the long development time. The main parts of this article take the 6000 Wdirect-current arc contravariant plasma power source design and fabrication as purpose. Theintroduction part points out the advantage of plasma in handling pollution, and introducestechnology progressing home and abroad here; Since the power circuit part designs has alsosampling in contravariant arc-welding power source, we also introduce the arc-welding powersource development here. On the basis, the main parts carry out detailed thorough expoundingon the circuital structure, principle, parameter design and component choice of the controlcircuit, drive and power source host etc. We construct switch regulated power source whichhas multipath exports with TOPSwitch-Ⅱcomponent, to carry out current supply on thecontrol circuit. We analyse and compare common PWM controlling chips, and selecte oneappropriate chip to structure pulse-width modulation control circuit which is used for drivingbridge circuit. The IGBT drive has a strict request, therefore select and use existing drivemodules to design the drive to facilitate the design and make the circuit to be more stable. Incircuital design of host, we chose entire bridge circuit to be contravariant method according topower source power, considering factors such as price and function, chose ferrite transformermagnetism core; In view of the effect of magnatic biasing, block condenser is applied toguard against the transformer magnetic saturation; We optimize the circuit with acurrent-limiting resistance and active filter to guard against surging electric current and the high-frequency interference. Test result show that these measure may raise power sourceefficiency and function very much.Since the circuit technology is mature and the component choise is reasonableness, thepower source can gain the fine stability. The article finality makes a data complement and tryto describe the prospect of plasma contravariant electric arc power source.
