With the development and popularization of computers and communication technology, the computer system grows day by day and computer room has become important parts of each company. The design data acquisition system of computer room based on FPGA, witch takes computer room temperature and humidity as main environment parameters, is discussed in the thesis.Firstly, a kind of design proposal about management system of computer room environment, which implements front-end data acquisition hardware design of FPGA system, is put forward in the thesis. Secondly, combining with hardware system, the data acquisition is controlled by software as well as acquired data is delivered to upper computer to deal with. Altera Corporation's Cyclone FPGA is used as central processor in the hardware system. And the hardware system is composed of temperature and humidity acquisition modules, LCD display module, GSM SMS module, communications interface circuits, FPGA power circuits, FPGA clocks circuits and FPGA configuration circuits etc. The analog temperature and humidity signal is acquired by sensor and converted to digital signal by A/D processor ADC0809. Digital signal is sent to SRAM to buffer and then delivered to upper computer. Structurized and modularized thought are adopted in the software design. And its main function module includes: temperature and humidity acquisition control program, SRAM read-write control program, LCD display control program, FPGA communication program and system administration program.The system is developed under the platform of Quartus II and produced PCB. After initial debugging, experiments show that environment parameters acquisition system of computer room, by further improvement, could serve as front end processor in the environmental monitoring system of computer room.
