As the PLC is stable, reliable, full-featured, flexibility of application, and the advantages of easy operation and maintenance, so it is more and more widely used in a distributed system. In such a PLC control system can be used in a variety of ways, such as direct use of existing configuration monitoring software communicate with the host computer, but for a small-scale control system, to find a cost-effective method of communication has a positive practical significance. Short Message Service, a basic business based on GSM network system, has been more and more attention. A variety of applications based on SMS has been developed. It is significant to build a long-range interaction platform between the users and the PLC system through the SMS which based on GSM network system. The platform has a lot of advantages. For instance it is easy to carry, practical, simple, convenient, large network coverage, low tariffs etc.The system provides a remote monitoring system through a long-range interaction platform between the mobile phones and the PLC system through the SMS which based on GSM network system. The system's center controller is MCU. In this system, users in the form of SMS with destination address to send control commands to the short message center, then forward to the GSM Short Message Center wireless module. The next step, MCU can read (or write) data from (to) GSM module in PDU format. Then MCU sends commands to the PLC system. So, it is easily achieved the remote monitoring of the aim objectives.This paper discusses a Remote Control System based on TC35I which is used in PLC automatic control system. Design mainly uses the PLC control system, microcontroller, and wireless GSM module. The main contents include: PLC, microcontrollers and wireless GSM SMS communication interface module design, each sub-function module communication software design. The implementation of the wireless GSM module to send SMS messages to the user mobile phone and receive short messages to mobile phone users to create a user mobile phones and remote communication microcontroller. MCU main finished sending, receiving data to explain the short message, and realize the control of the PLC system terminal.
