Research And Design Of Public Security Prison Administration In Electronic Police Service

In recent years, with the rapid development of information technology, particularly the universal application of Internet technology, e-government has become a focus of many countries and regional governments. The e-government becomes the trend of modern society. Economic and Social Affairs Department of United Nations has been exerting great effort for the developing countries to promote their e-government, and promoting "Information Superhighway" in all countries in five fields, that is "e-government, e-commerce, tele-education, tele-medicine, e-entertainment". The e-government is the topest. It can be said that e-government is the foundation of a information society.In China, the e-government started relatively late. But the party and state are highly valued. In early 2003, the Informatization Office of State Council announced that in accordance with WTO requirements and domestic needs, Building e-government is the important way to alter functions of government, to improve services of government and to enhance transparency in the work of the government. In current and quite a long period of future time, speeding up the process of e-government and promoting government reforms are important tasks faced by governments of each level.Therefore, in order to safeguard the social democracy modernization, the police are necessary to achieve modernization. The implementation of e-policing help police provide the community with better services, and promote legalization, socialization and science of police work. Prison System is an important component of the police. Research on Prison System can promote the realization of e-policing. This paper discusss design and reseach of Public Security Prison, which replace the traditional model with e-policing model and thus can promote efficiency of prison management.We aim to build a global business and technical framework of the Public Security Prison based on J2EE in this paper. Firstly, We introduce the current status, development history and characteristics of Prison Administration System. After that, we analyze the requirements of the Prison Administration System. Then, We describe infrastructure of Public Security Prison. Then, We introduce the J2EE technology, J2EE architecture and its core technology. Based on all above, we attain the global business and technical framework of the Public Security Prison. The Police Service Center is an example of primary design of subsystems in Public Security Prison. A sub-module of The Police Service Center is thoroughly discussed in detail design. Video Monitoring subsystem is also illustrated as an example.
