GUI (Graphics User Interface) is one kind of user interface by the graph underlie, the embedded graphical user interface system is a main constituent of embedded system. The embedded system's basic request to the GUI includes light, taking few resources, high performance, redundant reliability and the configurability. But MiniGUI established above the quite mature graphics engine, its characteristic is the formidable function, exquisite fine and maintains compatibility with the Win32 as far as possible. It mainly moves in the Linux control bench, actually may move in any kind of POSIX compatible system which has POSIX on the thread support, Simultaneously MiniGUI also is one of several free software projects which the home appears most early. Therefore, this article introduced the operating procedure of porting MiniGUI to the embedded system in detail.This article introduced the GUI elementary knowledge firstly, and take Micetek EV44B0Ⅱdevelopment board for example, elaborated the software and hardware platform that this article choosing the system in detail. In foundation of analyzing the uCLinux essence contents structure and EV44B0Ⅱ's architecture in detail, this article gave concrete method and step of porting uCLinux to EV44B0Ⅱ. Has provided the reference for the embedded operating system's porting method.This article introduced the MiniGUI's application domain, the MiniGUI's superiority, demand of moving the MiniGUI system and the MiniGUI's software construction in detail. This article systematically studied the operating procedure of porting MiniGUI to the EV44B0Ⅱdevelopment board. This method has provided the reference for the development of embedded graph system; has laid the foundation for the next research work; thus filled the research flaw that the embedded laboratory in this domain, this will be helpful to the next experimental teaching.Through the MiniGUI's porting, the experimental result indicated that MiniGUI is a lightweight graphical user interface support system which is suit to the embedded system.
