The Research And Design Of Remote Virtual Electromagnetic Induction Experiment Based On VRML And 3D

Remote education has become one of the important supplements of traditional education in our country. However, recently, the remote education mainly focuses on the theory instruction and pays relatively less attention to experiment operation. This is bad for promoting the remote education. In the practical teaching of the remote education, a lot of curriculum, especially sciences and engineering, often need the students to do the massive experiments to raise students'ability of operation and observation. Moreover, in most general universities education and vocational education, lack of experimental resources also causes the experimental teaching work not able to achieve prearranged goals which could raise students'skill and so on. Under this kind of situation, the virtual experimental technology comes into being.The virtual experiment is one kind of experiment pattern which depends on the production and development of virtual reality technology. The concrete meaning refers to using the virtual reality technology to realize the virtual experimental environment in the computer system, including simulation procedure,experimental unit,implement and reference, and the laboratory technician may complete the prearranged experimental projects like in the real environment.This thesis firstly gives a discussion on the research goal and the significance of the virtual laboratory; introduces and analyzes the domestic and foreign research condition and the application field of the virtual laboratory; and thoroughly discusses the rationale of the virtual experimental development and application. After introducing the history and related concepts of the virtual experiment, this thesis gives an analysis and comparison of all kinds of the technology which can realize the virtual experiment, and then put forward the method, the technology and the steps of the realization of the virtual electromagnetic induction experiment. It has carried out a physical experiment building and a virtual laboratory of electromagnetic induction based on VRML, using 3D MAX and VRML to make the three dimensional virtual test equipment, and produces the strategy which could optimize the VRML document, unify VRML and script language JavaScript to realize the object alternately operation in the three dimensional scene ; Using the embed element to insert the virtual experimental file to the HTML documents and realizes the network issue of virtual experimental system, which enables the studier to carry on the browsing study through Internet. And finally this thesis gives an introduction of the test appraisal situation of this virtual experiment.
