While in a fluctuant turning period, China has more and more requirements for fashion inthe information market. Media, as a guide for information, has become the main force to lead tofashion. As a one of the most important media, newspaper has reported fashion as a part ofcontents. Not only publishing various kinds of fashionable information, almost everycomprehensive newspaper contains the fashion page.There are six comprehensive newspapers in Guangzhou, including Nanfang Daily, SouthernMetropolis Daily, Guangzhou Daily, Yangcheng Evening News, Information Times and NewExpress. Except Nanfang Daily, others have designed special editions with the topic—fashion.Facing the content with homogeneity and the competition between traditional and new media,the valid management of 'fashion page' in the comprehensive newspapers has become a crucialfactor to attract readers' attention and win the fashion market.By analyzing its reasons,content and the situation with sociological and psychologicalknowledge, such as consumism, integral of economic and cultural, conformity psychology andso on. This thesis focuses on the management of the fashion pages combining the developmentof media nowadays,help the fashion pages to raise tihe responsibility and the cultural taste,thendevelop more perfectly.
