In the current era of rapid development of digital publishing.Compared with the traditional book publishing,the periodical market competition is particularly fierce.Most traditional periodicals are beginning to show signs of going backwards and begin to explore the way of digital transformation.The development of computer,mobile phone and tablet computer provides good equipment support for the production of periodical digital products,the diversity of social media such as WeChat and Weibo has opened up a whole new way of communication,the mature operation of e-commerce platform provides a convenient channel for periodical digital distribution.People are increasingly dependent on the Intenet,and fragmented reading is gradually entering people's life.The development of technology and the upgrading of products have brought a new technological experience for digital publishing.As an integral part of traditional media,fashion periodicals need to adapt to the digital backgroud.We will pursue new development paths and continue to explore our own development paths.Compare with traditional media communication,digital communication is more convenient and more flexible.Traditional fashion periodicals attract readers by pictures.It reveals a series of disadvantages such as high printing cost,serious content homogeneity and lack of innovation.So it is seeking effective development paths.The digital transformation of periodicals provides technical support for the rich media of fashion digital periodicals.Videoes,audioes,flash and live technology bring a different reading experience.With the rapid development of our country socialist market economy,people's lives are improving.People's pursuit of material culture has gradually turned into spiritual and cultural pursuit.When people satisfied their basic needs of life,they gradually turned to a higher quality of life.China is one of the major contributors to luxury consumption,fashion periodicals are the main platform for cooperation.For luxury partners,the digital development of fashion periodical can enrich the products.The development of fashion periodicals in our country has a good prospect,it's time to catch the opportunity to inject new life into the digital transformation of fashion periodicals.This paper gives a detailed overview of the digital development of fashion periodicals and analyzed the problems faced in the digital development of Chinese fashion periodicals.This paper through the evolution of planning ideas,columnlayouts,advertisement distribution and extension products to detail the overview.Deeply analyzed the problems faced by the digital development of the fashion periodicals.For example,the digital transformation of?ELLE world of fashion house?.Introduce the history of this fashion periodical,ELLE Chinese Network,digital periodical,and new media products.Through pricing guidelines,distribution channels and promotion methods of fashion periodicals,summarize the experience of?ELLE world of fashion house?'s success,and also puts forward some countermeasures for the digital transformation of Chinese fashion periodicals.In view of the problems in digital development of fashion periodicals,analyzes and summarizes them from five aspects:content,product production,profit model,marketing mode and users' experience.And also provides some suggestions for the digital transformation of other periodicals in China.
