Recently, the men's fashion magazines in Mainland China are developing rapidly. Its position of reader group is middle class, so its development not only depends on the marketable supply-demend relation, but also the result of the overlapping power of society and culture in the period of social transition. Besides, as social subject, It is certainly making positive influences to the society. Therefore, this paper puts the study of the men's fashion magazines in the background of transitional society, making an exposition of the construction to the middle class by men's fashion magazines and attempting to present the research route that across the field of communication, culture and social.This paper applies the method of content analysis and text analysis, giving a general description to the identity of middle class presented by the men's fashion magazines. Then, the paper attaches great importance to the interaction between the men's fashion magazines and the society, and discusses how the men's fashion magazines could construct the middle class in the realistic society by influencing its readers. Lastly, the paper further discusses the producing system of the middle class culture in men's fashion magazines, including social system, cultural system and marketing system.
