This paper presents the work that the author has taken when participated in the project of 'Research and Development of TD-SCDMA Terminal Test Set SP6010'. The test set can simulate the TD-SCDMA system functions such as signaling generator and signaling analyzer, and can accomplish terminal RF conformance test. In the project, the author has participated in project investigation, specification and requirement, system design, software development and integration, and is mainly in charge of the design and implementation of kernel of test set main control software. The article contains the contents below:(1) Introduction the development of mobile communication system, which especially discusses the technique feathers and development of TD-SCDMA.(2) Summary of TD-SCDMA terminal test set, which describes the test set development, contents of TD-SCDMA terminal test and the operation mode of a terminal test set..(3) Design of main control software, which describes the hardware and software architecture of test set and mainly discusses the function and structure traits of main control software.(4) The design and realization of kernel of main control software, discusses each module in kernel detailedly and also describes the method of implementing GPIB remote control.The content of the paper has been applied in the design and implementation of the main control software of SP6010. Up to now, SP6010 has passed a lot of verification, and has been used in many TD-SCDMA IC and terminal manufacturers.
