| Research and application of multimedia technology has gained more and more attention along with the rapid development of network and video compression and other related technologies. For example, video phone, remote education, video live broadcast, and so on.Video technology consists of video capture, video compress etc. DirectShow was created for streaming media on the Microsoft Windows platform. DirectShow provides for high-quality capture and playback of multimedia streams. The H.264 is the last international video-coding standard established and released by the ITU-T and ISO/IEC together. H.264 shows higher compression performance, and possesses better network adaptability. Streaming media technology is a kind of applied technology to resolve the problem of transmitting the data of video and audio with high capacity on network. Darwin Streaming Server is one of the open source streaming media server that allows you to send streaming media to clients across the Internet. RTP is used for transmitting the real-time multimedia data.The first part of this paper designs and implements a tool to capture, compress and broadcast live video data. This tool can be used in the video live broadcast, video conference, remote education system, and so on.The best effort or reliability of data transmission provided by the current IP network doesn't offer any quality of service guarantees for video transmission. It is inevitable for a communication system to generate transmission errors due to network characteristics, which will result in decreasing of video reconstructed quality, which will seriously deteriorate subjective quality.The second part of this paper researches the RTP payload format for H.264 Video, and implements all of RTP payload format modes or types for H.264 Video. Interleaved mode uses an "Interleaver" to disperse the errors to be separate, so as to decrease the influence to the subjective quality. |
