The Design And Implement Of 3G Core Network IMS Based Multimedia Conference System

Nowadays, IMS(IP Multimedia Subsystem) Architecture which is introduced in 3GPP R5 , is the main solution for FMC (Fix Mobile Convergence) , and the best solution for Fix and Mobile Network Operators. It helps operators implement All IP Architecture, which would satisfy user's need. And as a typical type of Multimedia services, Multimedia Conference has worked very well in information communication area. Next generation conference standard is being made while 3G & NGN (Next Generation Network) is developing.There is very good reason for us to believe that IMS based Multimedia Conference would show great value.The main work of this paper is: First, do some investigation about the principle and interfaces of '3G Core Network IMS based Multimedia Conference System'; second, develop '3G Core Network IMS based Multimedia Conference System'.The Multimedia Conference System is an SIP(Session Initiation Protocal) Application Server based on IMS, so besides multimedia conference's functions,the server implements interface ISC(IMS Service Controll) between IMS core network and the Multimedia Conference System, and also implement interface Ut between user equipment and the Multimedia Conference System. The research and the practice are useful for industrialization of 3G IMS in the future.The first Chapter gives the background of the task, and introduces the goal and value of the paper.The second Chapter introduces some related telecommunications technique.The third Chapter gives particular explain for system analysis and design, include system function list, what technology to use,signaling flow design,and module design. The forth Chapter gives particular explain for system implementation. The fifth Chapter introduces the function testing and running by giving some scenes while running. The sixth Chapter gives a brief sum up.
