Compared with SIP, H.323takes a longer time for research, Relying on the advantages of simplicity and flexibility along with better publicity and expansibility, SIP got a wide support and attention in the industry as soon as it appeared. The research of video conference based on SIP has also turned to be a focus of today’s study.Firstly the thesis briefly introduce the research background and the current situation home and abroad of SIP protocol. The understanding into the SIP protocol makes a cleat direction of research for our paper. The paper make a comparison between SIP protocol and H.323through such a detailed analysis into the structure and functions of the protocols that highlight the advantage of research the SIP, introduced the main content of SDP protocol which related with SIP protocol.Second, based on the understanding of the SIP protocol and related protocols, it proposed the framework of SIP video conference, and discussed the action of each module in a video conference, explored the realization of the Conference, analyzed and discussed several important issues about the Conference, analysis several important types of the Conference.And then analyze the control process of SIP video conference signal, introduced some simple signal and extended signal of the conference, and their function for the Conference. Then talk about some important action of the state of the conference, for example, Focus, Mixer. Based on this, we talk about how to realize the process of signal and how to implement the meeting proxy and so on.At the end of the article,it used the SDL simulation software Simulated the SIP protocol, which we can understand the basic concepts and features of SDL,and we can found that SIP protocol is a hierarchical structure, and make a module of SIP system, function block, and process,and take the result of the simulation. and implement the video conference system, we conduct a test by choosing one of the no-reference model and analyze the test results...
