Plant monitoring and diagnosis has developed quickly in recent years. It has effectively ensured the stably running of the plant, and will play a more and more important role in the plant predictive maintenance.A portable intelligent tour inspection system is developed to meet the demands of plant Pump Groups monitoring and diagnosis in petroleum and chemical enterprises, and it can perform both data analysis and fault diagnosis.The significance and method as well as the status quo of fault diagnosis are introduced in this thesis, and the whole design plan is presented according to the demands of fault diagnosis for vibration data acquisition and signal processing.Comprehensive analysis is given for the hardware design, and the whole system circuits utilizing the newest electronic techniques are designed based on CPLD,DSP and ARM, including power supply module, vibration signal conditioning module, data acquisition module and microprocessor module.The application proves that the portable intelligent tour inspection system is stable and is conveniently to be operated, and it has a high value for Pump Groups maintenance in petroleum and chemical enterprises.
