With the rapid development of present-day industries and technologies, the equipments and systems become more and more larger, higher speed, automation and intelligent. And these large complex systems are very valuable. It will make vast economic losses once accidents were happened. So the extensive researches and concerns were focus on the technology of running states' monitoring and diagnosis (it is also called the technology of fault diagnosis). Lately, in order to meet with the diagnosis requirements of the complex system, the monitor technology turn into the third phase of development (also called intelligent fault diagnosis phase), which is focus on knowledge disposure, combining with signal disposure, the disposure of model construction and the knowledge disposure, with the speedy development of computer technology and artificial intelligence.At the same time, it is possible to actualize the technology of remote fault diagnosis with the speedy development of Web technology, modern communication, fault diagnosis technology and the basic network establishments. It is a new technology, which setups the spot of monitor in the key equipments of industry, collects the state information of facilities, then builds the center of fault diagnosis to analyze and diagnose facilities in the units of scientific research which is more mighty in technical power.Firstly, the thesis totally introduces the technology of intelligent fault diagnosis in chapter 1. Then the source and background of the task were briefly introduced, moreover the paper further summarize the research of diagnosis technology in both domestic and overseas. Finally, the mostly works of this paper were simply presentation.In chapter 2, the author particularly introduces the study methods about intelligent fault diagnosis, discusses the further progress trends and the common structure of the intelligent fault diagnosis system, and advanced the knowledge of the basic technology about remote fault diagnosis system.In chapter 3, there is a detailed introduction to the theory foundation about the detection of diagnosis knowledge, including the methods of acquirement and denotation about knowledge. Then the paper sum-up the uncertainty problem of diagnosis knowledge.In chapter 4, based on the total presentation of refinery on-line fault diagnosis and accident prediction system, on the platform of Intemor, the paper particularly introduce the software structure of system, and emphasize the construction of knowledge base using expert system and the research & development of on-line prediction module about one equipment.In chapter 5, the paper demonstrate the knowledge detection based on the experiment platform of rotating machinery, using the knowledge detection methods ofcombinational optimization based on mathematic statistics and associated rules. It is given to demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the mentioned algorithm.In final chapter, the author sum up the full paper and the technology fruit of what have done.
