With the increasing development of military technology recently, a large quantities of new technical equipments put into service, and existing technology, maintenance pattern cannot satisfy the demands of maintenance and administration of new apparatuses. Internet-based remote diagnosis system becomes a new technology, which is composed of advanced technique in traditional fault diagnosis, computer science and communication. It fully utilized the forces of scientific research units, producers and maintenance divisions, and it immensely increased the efficiency and quality in maintaining the equipments.This thesis firstly establishes the architecture model and function model system on the ground of the frame and architecture of the Internet-based remote diagnosis system. It gives an analysis of the operational principle of the system and shows an available basic architecture of the modern complex equipment fault diagnosis. Then the author discusses the various support techniques of the system, which include Internet technique, Web database technique, expert system, artificial neural net etc. It affords a basic foundation in the realization of the whole system.Subsequently, the thesis tries to establish an Internet-based remote diagnosis system applying to the LTU-90A paver. According to the characteristics of the paver, the author tries to present both a fuzzy determination-based fault diagnosis mechanism and a fuzzy-associative -memory-based knowledge automatic learning mechanism. The system works in a web site and applies a B/S mode. The server applies the active server pages technique, which has a good user interface and interactive ability. The users can visit the web site anywhere and accomplish the remote intellective diagnosis conveniently and quickly.In the end, the thesis introduces and demonstrates all the function modes of the system.
