With the rapid development of embedded technology, embedded systems have been widely used in various processes of industrial production and online monitor for industrial production have been the important application field. Through the information collection, processing and analysis of industrial field, the industrial field environment and operation of equipment can be accurately real-timely monitored. Production efficiency, production security, energy savings and economic efficiency can be increased.This paper presents the online monitoring and fault diagnosis system platform of large-scale motor used embedded technology. Under the project practical background, the hardware system and software system of embedded heterogeneous dual-processor are designed. Online real-time monitoring and fault diagnosis system with the features of long-range and graphics are implemented.This paper designs hardware and software of the online detecting system. We used MCF5329 embedded processor as Primary processor, and TMS320VC5416 DSP as slavery processor. Main operating system, user interface system, communication system and embedded applications software are operated on Primary processor. DSP mainly implement multi-channel data acquisition and processing. Lots of peripheral interface and chips including SDRAM,FLASH,LCD,AD were expanded. we selected real time ucLinux acting as the main operate system,and some open source software such as lighttpd web service and minigui were used also. On slavery DSP system,we applied DSP/BIOS II real time system which was free provided by the chip designer. Data and video are sampled and processed by AD on DSP and video compress is processed also. Between the DSP and MCF5329,HPI interface was used to transfer data and the boot loader base on HPI was designed.
