With accelerating the pace of modern society, people have to face more and more pressure.And the incidence of heart disease rates have being at a high level. All kinds of heart problems are affecting people’s health and life. According to statistics, around the world, the fatal cardiovascular people account for about 1/3 of all deaths. There are many kinds of heart diseases, such as arrhythmia and myocardial infarction, so heart problems need to pay more attention. A lot of cardiovascular disease have a characteristic of sudden onset, but the real-time ECG diagnosis of ECG monitor have overcome this danger,and this diagnosis has a positive significance for early diagnosis of heart disease and clinical treatment.This paper discusses a real-time ECG diagnosis algorithm,and it is realized in the embedded system at the experimental results, and try to get the algorithm from time to time, in order to produce the embedded ECG monitor with low price. The paper mainly divided into hardware design and software design.In the aspect of hardware design, in order to achieve real-time diagnosis,the hardware is divided into two modules. It mainly includes signal extraction module and ECG processing module.The modules run on the WindowsCE operating system based on the ARM9 processor. The system have strong portability, with some characters, such as modular, real-time and provide advanced power management features. The main function of signal extraction module is that it will acquire, amplify and filtering the ECG signal, and transmit to the ECG processing module.In algorithm design, this paper put forward the improvement to the traditional algorithms, including the improvement of the signal filter algorithm and the improvement of ECG diagnosis algorithm. In signal processing, the traditional FIR filter and the adaptive filter design are not good removal based on image signal noise, the improved has the characteristics of high frequency information which can be realized at any time. In the aspect of improving ECG diagnosis algorithm, the paper select the difference method to analyse the R wave detection of ECG signal. Considering the difference method, there are two kinds of calculation methods: the difference of adjacent point calculation and the difference of separate point calculation.We are comparing two methods and find that separate point calculated from the difference contrast is more obvious.So we choose the separate point calculation to calculate the ECG signal. The R wave detection is determined by the difference value and the signal value of the threshold value judgment. It uses two kinds of methods for detection, the difference of positive and negative extremum and dual threshold decision method.Considering the instability of algorithm, this paper adopts the MIT-BIH arrhythmia database(MIT- BIH) as the research data for validation,which is in Physionet sites. We use Matlab to process the database, and make it easy to use.This algorithm has been completed, and carried out experiments with good.
