With the rapid development of computer technology and modern communication technology, the visual-speaking system for intelligent building have already developed from the popular speaking to the visual-speaking, and the function of visual-speaking tends to intellectualized day by day, but many correlation theory and technology are still developing unceasingly. This article is a topic about research on the visual-speaking system for intelligent building.The system makes full use of SCM intelligent control technology which has powerful control ability, and CAN bus communication technology which has the prominent reliability, timeliness, flexibility and secure in data communication. It constructs communication network model of intelligent building based on two level of CAN bus, and composed of an high performance-to-price ratio of intelligent building visual-speaking system, and can be used to interconnection network, multichannel intercom, security and long-distance control unlocks and so on.It has the hardware design of visual-speaking system for intelligent building in the article, including supervisor, entrance machine as well as resident machine, and designs the hardware electric circuit schematic diagram of entrance machine. It connected between each hardware module by CAN bus. In order to strengthen the function of long-distance garrisons and intelligence alarm, resident machine besides the function of visual-speaking, also integrates the interface of window and door monitoring, fire-alarm monitoring, gas monitoring and security and so on. The hardware circuit uses mature theory and technology, reduces wrong. The entire hardware system mades use of the modulation designs, and has very good extendibility. This is one of characteristics, also is the key point which it studies.In the article, it gives the software design of each hardware module in the system, and narrates the software flow plan of supervisor, entrance machine and resident machine in detail. The software design makes use of the modulation and standardization, and it is advantageous for software debugging, maintenance and function enhancement, and simultaneously gives subprogram. This is another acharacteristic.Finally, restricted in time, funds, manpower and physical resource, it only carries on the point-to-point communication test of CAN bus, and the result proofs that communication effect has achieved anticipated target. The intelligent technology changes every day in the application of modern building. Therefore, how enhances the intellectualized degree and standard of this system, need continue to study.
