As the development of microelectronics and system integrity,it's possible to integrate the whole system on a single chip and SOC technology has gradually become the trend of ASIC design field. SOC technology has brought an innovation in computer industry,and also brought a new develop chance for space electronics system. With application of SOC technology,there will be a further reduction in volume,mass and power of the avionics in aero craft. ASIC adopting SOC technology and FPGA adopting SOPC technology have become the important part of many avionics.Aiming at the actuality that the application of SOC technology in space electronics system field is little,this paper tries to do some work in the application of SOC technology in avionics. This paper selects the Altera FPGA's Nios II processor as the developing base,ports TCP/IP protocol stack,codes Ethernet chip driver program and implements the transmission of Ethernet data. The test result indicates the main part of TCP/IP protocol,such as ARP protocol,UDP protocol,TCP protocol works fluently and Ethernet chip receives and sends data correctly. At the end of this paper,it's given the test result of Ethernet transmission speed and brought forward the possible improving method in Ethernet transmission.
