In modern refinery, hydrotreating process is indispensable. Hydrogenation is irreversible and large-scale industrial processes, along with high temperature, high pressure, explosive nature, so a lot of the operation (reaction) data and regularity results is test through medium -and small-sized devices.This is the self-made subject of Jinxi Refined Petroleum Chemical Plant which based on the transformation of the original test device for the selection, screening catalyst, catalyst testing, and optimize the parameters of reaction temperature, pressure and discharge. Compared with the older devices, each new devices has a response system, in the same device , simple experiments process can be carried out, so dose the two counter-flow experiments. Oil enter part of the new devices use electronic scale measurement to collect the oil data, program was made to control the progressive pump and let it operate continuously, the volume of oil and the yield can be accurately and directly measured, when the volume of the oil fluctuate, it will issue a timely warning to prompt. The new sampling device adopts an automatic sampling method. New device adds high high-pressure gas quality flowmeter to measure the content of new hydrogen. This can be very visual and accurately measure the amount of hydrogen in each new moment and can monitor the new hydrogen flows through the computer at any moment. Exhaust system has high-pressure gas measuring apparatus and wet test meter to take on the exhaust gas measurement tasks. Ultra-high temperature power-off protection and ultra-high pressure pump protection system was added in the new safety system . New alarm system additionally installed temperature deviation alarm, pressure deviation alarm, high pressure alarm, Oil entrance deviation alarm, stock tank oil mass lower limit alarm, high pressure separator liquid position deviation alarm,low pressure separator liquid position deviation alarm. This paper is focus on the character and control methods of the heating furnace, oil entrance control and devices, high pressure oil level measurement and devices. The main issue is how to solve technical problems of oil furnace temperature and oil entrance control problem. The issue started since June 2003. Preliminary investigation and selection of equipment mainly for the installation work. - Primarily for the purchase of equipment, in March 2005 began organizing device. By the end of 2005, the control of the software and installation part has been basically completed. March 2006 completed the installation and commissioning of the stability test, device performance basically meets the design requirements...
