As the main energy-counsuming equipment of the production line, the baked billettemperature of the furnace is the primary indicator of the steel production process, the control oftemperature have a direct impact to the quality of lower product, and then gradually affect thequality of the steel, it may also affect other related industries of the production line, the serverecases is that may disrupt the normal operation of the entire rolling production line. Therefore,the furnace is an important part of the rolling production line, which charged with the task ofsupplying acceptable quality billet for the rolling process.As a complex control system, there are many characteristics such as multivariable, stronglycoupled, nonlinear and pure lag. In order to achieve the energy saving of the steel industry andreducing the metal oxide in the furnace burning, this topic focuses on the temperature controlanalysis and the pressure control analysis of the furnace, and make use of the method thatcurrently applicate in billet heating control, in order to suppress the phenomenon of peroxy andhypoxia, this research use dual cross limiting control for the furnace temperature control, whichcan be well controlled.To furnace pressure control, we use direct pressure control and exhaust gas temperaturecontrol. Under normal operating conditions of the furnace, the exhaust gas temperature is theprincipal contradiction, and the furnace pressure control is a secondary contradiction. So we cantake advantage of this, and design a selection controller to determine the choice of the way tocontrol the furnace pressure. Then use Siemens S7-300PLC as software development platformof the furnace control, and SIMATIC WinCC is used to design a monitoring interface. Build aPROFIBUS-DP network communications, and design the billet heating control system schemeof walking beam furnace, including signal detection, temperature control and furnace pressurecontrol. Complete the design of which from signal detection to system framework. Then writeprogram of dual cross limiting furnace temperature and furnace pressure control mode selection.At last, complete the design of system monitoring control menu.
