Research On Application Of Long-Distance Video Surveillance

In this paper, according to the characteristic of mountainous area disaster the author researches the long-distance surveillance subsystem with low cost and uninterrupted running, communicate transmission subsystem, disaster prediction subsystem and management subsystem. Operators and all levels management department can utilize the existing computer network and the work computer of railway system to monitor the scene or the local tube, station and the environment of alone the railway. And these can lighten greatly the visitatorial workload so that the danger hidden trouble is discovered in time and the safe manufacture is guaranteed.It analyzed the nuclear technology of video monitoring and the video transmission mode of network,and then compared between them. Several image compressions and transmission modes of network,which fit for the process of transmission, are selected. Moreover, the design project of the system is confirmed. The compositive content of the control system,the basal framework and the system framework of software are presented.According to the railway industry to the actual situation, the system total framework is designed at the basic of the system basic function. Both the main function and the work principle of the system are explained. Finally, combined with the practical application,several applications are designed. These programs have been in use at the scene and achieved good results.
