Nowadays, by making use of the weather facsimile receiver, the ships can receive the nephogram and the information of each sea area in time and expediently. The weather facsimile receiver has already taken indispensable actions on the safeties of the warships, civilian ships and voyage's aspects. Extensive applications in each realm of the wireless weather facsimile receiver make a great development of the voyage weather facsimile receiving enterprise. But in the existing service mode of the voyage weather, the domestic weather facsimile receiver stays around to simulative circuit period. Compared with the productions of the same kind abroad at the same time, the domestic productions have some disadvantages, such as the large volume, poor solidity,low scale integration, and can't connect with the computer which makes it inconvenient to search the information of the facsimile images. These problems are restriction of the development and application of the domestic weather facsimile receiver.This thesis designed a kind of electric circuit module which is based on the processor of TMS320VC33 and the bus of PC/104, this module can demodulate the facsimile signal and receive the facsimile images, and it also can transfer the facsimile image datas and information to the master computer according to the instruction of the master computer, thus this module can offer a convenience platform in the management and the exploitation of the sea weather information.In the process of dealing with the facsimile signal, this module can detect the remote control signal, in-phase and select the scan speed automatically, and this module can also adjust the image sizes according to the scan speed automatically. In the image data transfer way, this design takes a block data mothed, and this way raises the reality of the system. At the same time the electric circuit's integration is higher, the interface with the master machine is easier via the PC/104 bus. The system got a satisfied result in the test of the demodulation of the facsimile signal, and successfully received the weather facsimile images by the receive software in the master machine, and verified the function of this system.
