Design Of The Weather Facsimile Receiver Web Server's Platform Based On ARM

The weather facsimile receiver is one of the main approaches to get meteorological information for the offshore ships, and it can receive the nephogram and the information of each sea area in time and expediently, so the weather facsimile receiver has already taken indispensable actions on the safeties of the warships, civilian ships and voyage's aspects.The hardware platform of the weather facsimile receiver Web Server's platform based on Boa server and the ARM9(S3C2410X) is the main processor, and the software platform of this system is Embedded Linux. Using the way of browser/server, this platform realizes the functions of that operating the weather facsimile receiver on the client-system browser by the network and the server returns the result to the remote user.Research of the paper includes the hardware design and software system design:According to the design rules of the microprocessor and Web Server's platform, the hardware design power, crystal circuits, memorizer, Ethernet, serial, JTAG and so on.Linux is loaded to the hardware. Firstly, the paper analyses the structure of Bootloader, kernel and root file system, and researches the whole process of Linux porting to the platform of the weather facsimile receiver Web Server. Secondly, it also studies the features of driver development in embedded Linux and compiles the driver of GPIO and AD, required by Web Server's platform. Finally, through introducing the operation interface in system, the paper tests the script.
