B2B media is the abbreviation of business to business media. In a broad sense, it is the substitutive phrase of traditional business media or trade media. However, the transition from trade media to the B2B media, embodies that traditional trade media keep the constant improvement in function and adhere to adjustment of the operation model.In a view of the development of foreign B2B media, there is no denying that B2B media play a significant role in the development of the global economy, although they focus on some specific areas, target at the "small audience", and social impact is also less than some mass media. Therefore, they can exist and continue to grow and develop.Currently, foreign B2B media have become big and powerful in the scale. A large number of transnational media group have turned up, the scope of the media business has gone far beyond the old concept. The research sorted out the form of the foreign B2B media, and basically showing the current condition. Meanwhile, according to the theory related to the media operation, the study also makes a systematic treatment for the operation mode of foreign B2B media.This study was carried out on a more precise definition of the concept of B2B media, the B2B media and the traditional trade media was set apart further, and clearly describe the differences of the two types media in media shape and the operation pattern. In terms of the comparative study, researcher make clear that the lack of the domestic trade media in development ideas, editorial policy, operation model, and make development suggestions on the basis of learning the operation mode of foreign B2B media.
