| The technology of Network Management is used to solve the problem of network failure, low performance, improper configuration, poor security, etc. The development of current network management is toward distributed network management. The mobile Agent is regarded as a new type of intelligent distributed technique, which is being used in network management. In this model, the function of network management station is partly transferred to the network device;it can greatly lessen the burden of management station. Simultaneity, the mobile Agent is autonomous and can finish some tasks without the interference of network management station.At first, we simply introduced mobile and network management, pointed out the shortcoming of the traditional SNMP-based management system. Then we colligated the condition of how Mobile Agent is used in network management, and proposed a network management framework based on Mobile Agent, gave us the performance analysis and experiment result. The result indicate that distributed network management based on mobile Agent is better than traditional SNMP-based management on response time and data flux, etc. Finally, dissertation concluded with the deficiency existing the finished work and expected the future of distributed Network management based on Mobile Agent. |
