The computer cartoon is the combo of the computer graphics and art recently, and it is applied in fields of movie stunt, commence ad, game, CAE widely. Behind of the movies and cartoons, we need a lot of cartoon rendering and producing. 3D cartoon not only needs very useful design software, but also needs powerful operated hardware platform, the cluster system can solve this problem, and it provides us high expansibility and suability.In order to realize the cluster render system on WEB, the cluster system must have a group of management software which can efficiently provide load balancing, configurable job scheduling, job management, resource management, and a job management software on WEB which can submit, manage job on WEB..This paper describes the design and realization of a WEB-based cluster render system. It is mainly comprised by the following 5 parts: Firstly I introduce some knowledge of cluster, such as the concept and application field of the cluster. Part 2 I analyze the architecture of the cluster in detail. Part 3, after comparing the most popular job management; we analyze the Lsf in detail and the structure of EnginFrame. Part 4,I describe some design principle and function of the WEB-based cluster render system oriented cluster user. The main function oriented cluster user is divided into: Resources management, Job management, Queues management, and so on. LSF is a popular system because it is powerful, customizable. Part5, we implement the WEB-based cluster render system.The WEB-based cluster render system has run successfully on the cluster system in High Performance center of our campus, the main characteristics include: customizable working desktop, simple and convenient operation interface, flexible utilities, reliable safety, convenient accessing of remote resources. By the support of Oracle database, the system can remember the job parameters and users information. In addition, the interface between the WEB-based batch environment and Lsf is portable, and it is very easy to be applied.
