With the rapid development of the three-dimensional computer imaging technology and computer hardware and software technology, three-dimensional animation technology developed rapidly. In the process of the three-dimensional animation production, there is need to render all scenes in order to obtain high-quality images after completing the animation modeling and the animation settings. Rendering is the key technology of the process of calculating the 3D data structure or scenes to the 2D images. With the continous increasing of animation frame and resolution, animation rendering has high speed increasing of the expense of time. The emergence of cluster rendering system, improve rendering efficiency and quality. Under the unified deployment of cluster management software, it coordinates to complete rendering tasks in parallel.At present, domestic and foreign establish large-scale rendering platform based on different management software for rendering tasks. The management system of rendering tasks does not achieve the management of rendering tasks for users. Such as Deadline which only applyes to internal management of task scheduling and is an C/S mode rendering task management software, can not provides more people with wider services of the management of rendering tasks. Although Shanghai render farm public platform build Web portal to face more small and medium customers, but did not provide users with the rendering task management services. After the user submits the rendering task, the rendering task of management is distributed by the system administrator under all scheduling circumstances of the platform,users can not manage rendering tasks according to their needs.To solve the above problems, the issue of rendering the task management system is designed to provide users with the rendering task management services. The system includes modules such as task management, user management, cluster management, divides two rights:system administrators and ordinary users. Users schedule and management the rendering tasks by operations such as create, pause, delete, restart a task. This system which constructs the cluster rendering system based on OpenPBS and achieves web portal through the Struts and Hibernate architecture design, already has deployed successfully on High Performance Computing Center at the Shandong University and put into use. The system provides a friendly management interface, applys efficient task management and improves the efficiency and quality animation.
