A Study On Making Economic Income Earning Of Museums In China

With the development of market economy and social progress, the financial problem of museum has already brought out in our country. Through describing and analyzing constitutes of the present situation of museum income, this thesis tries to get a series of solutions.The thesis is divided into three parts,first is an introduction part. The article begins with a problem which carries on the museum funds condition of our country in contrast with foreign museums. Then is the description of the problem made by the missing funds and the meaning of this study. After that is the review of the former relevant articles, since the 80's in last century, there are two tides about the making economic incomes of our country. One is in the middle of 80's last century, it involved in the discussion on the relation between economic performance and social performance. Then, there is a basic approbation on carrying on the economic activity. But it was still conservative. Another one was in the middle of the 90's last century, when the background of economic reform carries on continuously, and the development of the tour industry, the problem of the museum funds was paid attention by people again. At this time, it was put forward new standpoint, audience behavior was paid more attention and extension of function of the recreational amusement. It was not only scooped out the internal resources of the museum, but also noticed the exterior resources of the museum. On the whole, the activity in this period was opened and more macroscopically compared to the last period. The second part is the description of the museum present income condition and the analysis of the reasons. In the description of the present income condition, the writer start from the nation appropriation, self-run income and donation, using the dates, forms, the diagram examples to make an objective elucidation; then from the exterior environment and internal environment of the museum to carry on the analysis of the reason, subsequently getting some cause. From the exterior environment, the reasons of the problem are the direct public finance support of the government to currently is little, the law policy is not perfect and encourages method is little. From the internal environment, it is mainly because that the management system and the mechanism come to deadlock relatively, the quantity and levels of display and service are need to raise, and it is not realize the brand of the museum enough.The end is trying to put forward solving the problem of the museum funds shortage. The text is from exterior, inner part and from macro view to tiny view to give the solutions. In the exterior environment of the museum, the government should begin the lawmaking, should give the museum the high independent power and should increase to the public finance appropriation of the museum, should publish the cultural lottery, should establish the museum cultural funds and should initiate the articles in the museum to have the treatment in the market ;In the internal environment of the museum, the museum inner part should build up a good operation mechanism and have the activity to make economic income, strengthen the contact with the business enterprise, encourage the endowment except economic factor and scoops out the museum latent value——brand value, establish the friend of the museum and increase the admission of the museum.Consequently, the income is very high dependence of the government currently, and the source of revenue is narrow. In order to prevent the risk of the little source and make full use of social resource, museum should be under the leading of the government, using the advantage and abilities of the museum itself to resolve the funds problem of the museum. The funds problem of the museum in our country is not only a pure method raising problem, but also is the process of creating, a kind of establishment funds source mechanism. It needs the joint effort of the government, society and the museum itself.
