Research On Chinese Economic Literature Date Mining

After the China's reform and opening-up,economic research has made a great progress and accumulated a large number of economic literature.However,both microeconomic theory and macroeconomic analysis the basic theories trend towards more quantification and more modeling,economics evolved into a huge axiomatic system of modern economic theory gradually.Meanwhile,the assumptions rationality,the feasibility of index,even the quality of data have been ignored,this may cause a lot of disconnection between thesis research results and the real economy.Based on the above background,many problem exposed in the economic operation need us review and reflection.This paper gives a comprehensive analysis of 8,973,710 economic articles were published in China Academic Journal Network Publishing Database between 1979 to2016 by the methods of measurement analysis,text mining and statistical methods.In addition,this paper has given a quantitative analysis from aspects of article number,time distribution,journals source,fund,keywords and so on.Based on this quantitative analysis,analysis methods,indicators,and data as three access points,this paper focused on the analysis of the basic problem which generally be ignored in empirical research.Research shows:(1)The number of China economic analysis literature presents an increasing trend over time with periodic characteristics,and this periodic characteristics influenced by the development of economy and real economy.On the other hand,the percentage of core journals is low,has led to low quality in economic research papers.Paper fund supporting is obviously not enough,the source is from provincial funds primarily.(2)Economic analysis methods generally built on the basis of quantitative explanation object,use economic model to abstract complex economic reality,and economic model being more and more complicated.At the same time,the basic method like theoretical analysis and statistical analysis turn to be auxiliary tools of complex analysis methods.(3)Not enough attention to the index using problem,led to the applying level of China's economic analysis indicators is lower.The phenomenon of “index abuse” and “index misuse” make the lack of convergence between the theoretical and practical thinking.(4)The data from government sector and private sector cannot be assumed to be accurate,“false statistic” and “problemdata” led many empirical paper lost its practical significance.
