With the development of market economy, Chinese people have made much more deep impression on the power of economy than before. No matter in social life or in family life, material life or cultural life, people have paid much more attention on the economic trend and significance than before. As the supervisor and observation of social environment, Chinese mass medium has put much enthusiasm into economic life, and taken the world economy situation into its broadcasting domain.Nowadays, there are about 86 economic channels in Chinese TV broadcasting medium, even more economic programs in integrated channels, there formed a splendid sight of hot economic program broadcast. However, enthusiasm is not enough. The low quality of the programs in special channel is the main problem, which restricts the development of special channel. For example, lots of teleplays and movies are broadcasted in golden period for the shortage of special economic programs. So the audience are not satisfied with the economic channel.Taking the development of CCTV—2 as an example for review, it has made 3 corrections in the specialty establishment. Firstly, CCTV—2 took economy as its theme and then held "economy, life and service" as the theme secondly. Thirdly, CCTV—2 corrects its theme and brings macro-economy point to the audience. Compared with CNBC, one of the global famous financial channels, the thesis demonstrates the success and the problem in homeland establishment of economic channel, and points out the reasons. The great disparity in civil diathesis, the simple profit model and the administrative mechanism are all the obstacles which lead to the simplification and elementary in the establishment of economic channel. Aimed at problems and reasons, the thesis integrates all the academic solutions and discusses the countermeasures of improvement and consummation.
