Research And Implementation Of WorkFlow Based On J2EE

Workflow technology is a newly developing technology that is responsible for controlment and management of workflow. So, Workflow Management Coalition (WFMC) was established internationally, which specializes in workflow management technology. Workflow Management System (WFMS) is the software of controlling and managing flow of work by workflow technology. With the development of the e-business, traditional WFMS can not be suitable for the demand of modern business administration, manifesting in lack of system flexibility and interoperability, and being difficult to support the work flow of dynamic and spanning over organization.With the development of net technology, the advent of new technology make people believe that introducing WFMS is bound to enhance system performance, especially web and other technology, such as the development of Java, its good independency in platform; robustness; expandability and flexibility. In view of the far-ranging approval ofJ2EE-SUN Java distributed compute platform, application based on J2EE becomes ahotspot in software industry.This dissertation describes Workflow Middleware based on J2EE Basing on "workflow net model", we use XML to describe workflow definition Language, UML to make workflow model, and Java technology to implement the lightweight workflow engine. Then, how to build workflow model and how to use Java technology to implementworkflow core part-workflow engine are introduced in detail. At last, how it is appliedto China agriculture construction project system.Now, this system has been used. It shows that the system has good flexibility and acts a part in work efficiency.
