With the computer's widely appliance in the daily, more and more work need to computer to complete. At the same time, all kinds of information systems were broadly used. But always these systems runs independently, among them lacks of necessary communication, collaboration and sensuousness, so they have many serious shorting in collaborating with many activities and finishing the same task. Therefore since 1990s Workflow Management Systems (WfMSs) were drawn on extensive attention by research institutions and industry fields. As an important direction about Computer Supported Collaboration Work (CSCW)'s research, the main goal of WorkFlow Management Systems is making business process execute by certain sequence and realizing business process's automatization, which collaborate all aspects in the business process according to utilize relative information resource and human resource. Some basic thought about workflow management origins these fields in early period, which is "Office Automation (OA)", "Document Management", "sheet Management" etc. In the view of research of CSCW, WfMS is a groupware system, which supports people completing the work asynchronously, and it is that groupware system develops from supporting synchronous and nonstructural cooperation (such as desktop meeting system, cooperate design supporting system , cooperate editor system etc)to supporting formalized and structural cooperation. This article supposed a flexible workflow engine model (LAFlow) aimed to the rise of electrical platform at present, which is based on the actuality of research and develop in our country, and then compares with popular workflow engine existing and points the model's merit and short. At the end of this article we realize a workflow system referring to the LAFlow model, which can be used to develop workflow management information systems.
