Research And Implementation On Heterogeneous Data Integration Of ACH System

The rapid expansion of information knowledge, reduction in computing costs, and spread of internet access have created lots of electronic data. Due to historical reasons or the need of business expansion, there exist multitude heterogeneous data sources at the same time in many enterprises. How to avoid the waste of enterprises resources and realize the data sharing as soon as possible by integrating these heterogeneous data sources becomes what these enterprises care most.The research in this paper is based on the ACH (America's Choice Health Plans) project. To fill the requirements which include data sharing, accessing to heterogeneous data sources transparently and decision analysis support, a solution was provided in the paper. Meanwhile, the paper studied the key technologies.The paper investigated three popular solutions on heterogeneous data integration, analyzed the feasibility of integrating hererogeneous data in ACH (America's Choice Health Plans) system by data warehouse system, studied the ETL technology which is important to build data warehouse, and proposed to implement hererogeneous data's process of ETL based on DTS technology. In addition, a new solution based on JMS and XML technology which can realize the data synchronization more effectively was provided.What has been researched in the paper has been being used in ACH (America's Choice Health Plans) system. Now, the system is running on the safe side.
