The Design Of Remote Control Device Of Integrated Services Terminal (IST)

With the coming of information pireod, information techonology is changing the way of people live and work style, idea make style and think style. Their need is changing too. They are more keen of acquiring information, not satisfied of single service any more. They want to make video, data and VoIP the multimedia integrated sevice in one terminal through one network. This is making business opportunity for ISP, and also providing greater researching and developing space. Developing a user teminal access device- IST capable of providing integrated service for user is the need of market development, and also the technology developing's inevitable trend. In the mean time, this device need to provide a operatable, controllable, capable of implementing word input operating device- remote controller. Its study and development directly influencing the outcome result of the integred service provided by the IST.At first this article thoroughly studied and analynized the IST requirment, working environment, the RC's place and action in the entire system, nowaday's technology native and abroad, and the performance requirement. On this base, I systematically learned and studied the infaried remote control system's working principle, MCU working principle and interface techonology, and so on. I made clear the remote controller system's detailed hardware system organization, made sure adopting the more widespreading, more maturing infaried remote control technology in home electronic remote control device acorporating MCU design as the basic principle. This article emphasis studied the remote control device software and hardware structure, it's hardware include the emiting device, receiving device, process device three part. To remote controller hardware system whole plan especially the emit device, receive device, process device three part's plan design and prove, at last make sure adopt Philip companies' LPC900 series MCU, I design a only and special IST input controller use infaried remote signal emit device. Infaried remote signal emitter mainly let key matrix circuit, MCU, emit circuit, clock circuit part organize. At detail hardware implemation this article mainly analyze and discuss remote control emit device and receive device two part detail circuit design and implement. The two module design content include emit and receive chip define, this device development full use infaried remote control technology, integrated chip technology and relevant software design. For solve Chinese and English word input implement problem, at software requirement analyse base, make sure adopt hardware and software to implement, together implement way, detail speak is use standard ASCII code table character design to five signal sequence, store in MCU memory. already digit is one line, every 13 English character is one squence. every alternative key image a English character sequence. image digit don't use alternative key. when alterative key is press, through change program whole erea variable, from whole area variable value can make sure whitch alternative key is press. To Chinese word storehouse store and process let IST main control module to implement.
