The Design And Realization Of The Infrared Remote Control System In The Smart Home Control Center

With the advancement of world and the requirement of live, smart house is the development stream for social modern living, and the functions should be more and more powerful and perferct. There are many kinds of sofeware and communication protocol in smart house system at present; these add the much trouble for integration and the management of the system. The BACnet protocol is a data communication protocol for building automation and control networks, manufactures should design the intelligent home devices according to the protocol, then all the devices and the equipments can be control by the criterion. So the BACnet protocol applied in smart home and then design the smart home system have the practial and the market significance.Infrared remote control system is the user interface of smart home. People can control any device of BACnet in smart home by using the infraed remote controller. But it is not a device of BACnet. So the paper discussed how to design and implement the gateway of infrared BACnet in order to make communication between infrared system and BACnet.There are seven major chapters in this paper. Prolegomenon introduce the smart home system and the status currently, and the intelligent home based on BACnet protocol is the best way to resolve the current problems; the topic for the second chapters is the intelligent home system and infrared remote control system which mainly analysis the hardware framework, BACnet protocol and infrared function applying in intelligent home system; the topic for the third chapter is the design idea for infrared remote control system which mainly contents are the protocol transform between the two system, and then work out the project for infrared remote control system; the topic for the fourth and fifth chapter is the realize of the infrared remote control system, hardware and software realized are discussed here; the topic of sixth chapter simplely show the test method and test results for infrared remote control system which uses to confirm the desiged system is the good design; last chapter expresses thanks.Finally, this paper gives the work summary and the limitation of this system, also gives some advices which paves the way for the next development and realization of the wireless remote control system of the smart home based on BACnet.
