How to establish the nonlinear system model fast and accurately is always a hotspot in the value research area, meanwhile along with the modern industrydevelopment, optimized to the multi-parameters in the nonlinear system also set theurgent request. However the precision of the traditional modeling way is unable tosatisfy the need of the practical application, the complex relations betweenmulti-parameters in the nonlinear system cause to find the optimal solution or theapproximate optimal solution difficultly with the traditional optimization method.Through imitating the function of information processing in biological neuron,according to the certain connection way, the obtained artificial neural network canestablish the nonlinear mapping relation between the input and the output rapidly,namely nonlinear system model is established. The genetic algorithm is a kind ofglobal search optimization algorithm which uses the principle of biology evolutionfor reference. It has remarkable characteristics such as simple, general, suitable forthe parallel processing and the broad application scope, which make the geneticalgorithm take a important role in the nonlinear optimization domain.Tire Pressure Monitoring System(TPMS) is used to get the in-tire parametersand reports them to car drivers, especially when the tires are in the bad condition.With the increase of the mass's self-protect consciousness and the development ofrelated laws, Tire Pressure Monitoring System is increasingly gaining more and moreattention. But the antenna is one of the keys which decide the system performance. Ifthe choosing and designing of the antenna is improper, it can't satisfy the request oftransmissing and receiving signal of the system, then the tire pressure information isunable to be received smoothly, also being unable to achieve the goal of remindingdrivers. Considering of the information processing, the TPMS antenna is also anonlinear system.The article applies the nonlinear system modeling and its optimization method tothe design of antenna of Tire Pressure Monitoring System. The artificial neural network and the genetic algorithm are used to model, optimize, then the normal modehelix antenna and the electrical small loop antenna which are suitable for TPMS isobtained. After the simulation, the obtained can satisfy the request of TPMS to theantenna, which has confirmed the validity of the artificial neural network and thegenetic algorithm used in the antenna design. And, the resonance characteristic of thenormal mode helix antenna is surveyed practicality, the result meets the simulationresult. Finally, the characteristics of the electrical small loop antenna and the normalmode helix antenna are compared. The conclusion indicates the normal mode helixantenna and the electrical small loop antenna have the superiority respectively forTire Pressure Monitoring System. The antenna can be chosen according to the actualsituation.
