As a process-oriented management technique, workflow technology brings about intelligent, high efficient, manageable and flexible enterprises. Such technique has gained increasing favor among companies to optimize their TQCS. As a vital part of technology, the quality of process model will affect different aspects as a whole.In the first place, the article represents workflow techniques, especially the achievements in research area and some valuable problems, also the gap area between the academic reseach and enterprises's practical demands. We can reach the point that requirements from the following three roles-the user, the enterprise and the workflow engine should be taken into accounts considerably.According to the three roles'views, in this article, the entire process model Exd_P falls into three tiers: Graphics, XML and ECA. each of which addresses the demand from users, enterprises and engines. Starting from XPDL, upward expanding on graphical elements provides users with both the model itself and its calibration object; downward conversion sets the ECA rules in order to accommodate engine execution and process changes. Because the model itself does not alter the core component of the XPDL, the WFMC requirements are still supported, so is the interchangeability.Besides activity and transition, participant is another important role in the process-modeling. While the model in WFMC only allow participant to use a few entities, this new process model enables the participant to use more entities by increasing various information and make it more flexible in the occasions we do the settings and selections. It also gives a description for problems or redundancies that will came to us when the extended process model is running in real circumstances and provides specific methods to deal with these situations and eliminate redundancies.In the end, this article provides a graphic searching-based verifying method to check connections between every two parts of the process model, it also gives concerned concept of plan graphic and provides method concerns the plane graphic and the reduction of graphic when executing, which is designed to verify the correctness of logics of the process model.This process model has been realized and put into use. Its advantages in flexibility and interaction have been proved. The verifying method to check connections is practical and the verifying method to check the logics is best done when the process mode, to some extent, is normative or not too complex.
