Research Of Cooperative Editing Technology In Distance Education Evaluation System

Computer Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW) is the multi-knowledge crossed research realm which involves the computer technology, the network communication technology and multimedia technology. In the system people of different profession in different places can work cooperatively. Its widely application will have definite and profound effect on people's work and life. Computer Supported Cooperative Editor (CSCE) is one of the most important application fields in CSCW, which can make a group of users in different places communicate and cooperate to cooperatively complete a corporate document.In this thesis, a system prototype about Distance Education Evaluating Cooperative Editing System (DEECES) under the web circumstances is provided, on the basis of status quo of Cooperative Editor in existence and actual demand for cooperative editor in distance education evaluating system. Four aspects of DEECES are focused in this paper: access control, concurrency control, cooperative edition management and cooperative awareness mechanism. The author makes an analysis of role-based access control. Founded on the characteristic of editing objects in distance education evaluating system, a solution to object-oriented cooperative edition management is provided. At the same time, a solution to edition-based improved optimistic concurrency control is presented based on the analysis of the existing concurrency control methods. For good awareness, based on the research in the existing cooperative awareness model, the concept of semantic web, Task-Semantic Awareness Model (TSAM) is put forward, and the realization mechanism of TSAM is presented.
