Compared with the C/S mode, the notable advantages of the P2P mode have enabled the rapid development of the P2P technology, of which the application has covered more and more areas. As blending of technologies and their application has been a trend of the Internet development, it requires that applied systems of technologies have the characteristics of integration, expansion, model repetition, safety and economy. However, at present, the application on P2P technology is mostly based on the independent mode, which has problems that are hard to solve just in the mentioned aspects. Thus, this thesis paper gives the concept of Network Information Interactive Platform on the P2P mode. The well developing and functioning of this platform provides the foundation to the P2P technology application in all areas. The emergence of this application mode solves all the problems of the five above aspects. This thesis focuses on the research and the design of the P2P Network Information Interactive Platform (abbreviated as P2P MIP).The content of this thesis is summarized as below. First, it introduces the research background, analyses the P2P mode and the C/S mode, and compares the two modes with each other. Second, it analyses people's demand of the P2P NIIP according to its features and its developing trend, determines to use the JXTA as the core technology of the P2P NIIP in accordance with the result of the analysis and the comparison of the diversified P2P technologies. On the basis of the above, the thesis gives the general system designing scheme of the P2P NIIP (including the realization of the three kinds of P2P application, which are notice skimming, communication within group and file transmission). Third, it completes the specific model design and coding (and also sets up the appropriate system model). Finally, about the safety of the data transmission and the Internet management mode of the P2P, it gives tentative ideas on their improvement as well as preliminary analyses on the prospects of the commercialized application.This thesis is constructive. For, it gives the concept of the P2P NIIP for the very first time and proves by practicing that the JXTA technology is the best choice for setting up the P2P system platform. Meanwhile, the first step of the P2P NIIP's fulfillment provides a relatively complete set of reference materials to those people who work and research in this field. Moreover, the open-source plan of the P2P NIIP creates favorable conditions for its further improvement and provides chances to the final fulfillment of its commercialized application.
