The Research And Implementation Of Web Service Based On JXTA Platform

The world has already entered a network-centered computing era,but because of the problems in the traditional network pattern,such as bad interoperability,isolated platform and so on,it has become an urging task to solve these problems in order to share the computing resources and service resources all over the world,to communicate each other,to research collaboratively,to fully use the free resources on the Internet and Web sites.Without a question,P2P integrating with Web Services is the ideal architechture based on distributed computing technologies.But,the traditional distributed computing can't fully use many resources,such as computing resources,information resources,database resources,service resources and so on.Besides,the price of interactive communication is very high.But JXTA provides a good way to overcome this difficulty.It is also becoming a more important research field to build Web Services based on JXTA platform with regard to make the best efficiency,to deploy Internet Applications.JXTA is a common platform to build P2P application which is brought forward by Sun in 2001.It has solved the incompatible problems between different P2P systems.Meanwhile,it provides a suite of general P2P foundation principles which is independent of program languages,communication principles and platforms,so as to integrate the P2P application and standardize P2P services.Now,its highest version is JXTA 2.5.Through the study amd research of technologies and standards about P2P and Web Services,the author analyzes the similarities and differences,then summarizes the advantages.Meanwhile the author has a research of some key problems about JXTA and Web Services,such as peer discovery,distributed index mechanism,JXTA security,the SOAP communication between peers and Web Services combination.Thereafter,based on JXTA platform,by combining P2P and Web Services,using the advertisements,JXTA pipes,modules and so on,this paper designs and implements a NO-UDDI solution to publish and request Web Service in P2P network.Then,by supporting UDDI and introducing peer broker,the author improved the NO-UDDI solution in order to access and request the Web Service on Internet.so that it has more practical values.
