Net system of coal mining security monitoring (NSCMSM) is a provincial key project for coal mining security, which is proposed by Henan coal mine information center, and is supported and organized by coal industry bureau of Henan province.NSCMSM is a multi-layer structure, which is constructed by province, mining group company and coal mine monitoring net system and can share information between different layers. By the software of security monitoring system which is based on B/S technology, remote security monitoring and alarming are realized. So collecting, analyzing, early-warning of mining security datum and integrated management are integrated into one system.Sub-system of datum collecting and communicating (SSDCC) is the system interface of different management levels in the NSCMSM in Henan province. By the sub-system, security monitoring datum in the underground are transmitted to the server on the ground in a real-time style, and are uploaded to the server in group company and in the provincial management center as well. The layout, analysis of market requirement and design of NSCMSM are carried out by the author. In the paper, design and its realization of SSDCC are detailed and also SSDCC is verified during almost one-year pre-running in all management levels of Henan province. The system can help all units which monitor mining security in the province to get early-warning information related to methane, so many accidents related security can be avoided. In case of accident, the datum from the system can be analyzed immediately. Now the design layout of NSCMSM has been adopted by related units of other provinces.
