With the research and development of the third generation mobile communication system, as well as commercial networks built in many countries, the third generation mobile communication system develop rapidly. The coexistence for different mobile systems are payed more attention by operators and manufactures. Many major companies have carried out research on this issue. Our country will launch 3G business soon, several operators may use different standards. Therefore it is necessary to proceed with the research according with characteristics of China about mobile communication system coexistence. This paper studies the system coexistence problem between WCDMA and CDMA2000, This paper mainly proceed interference simulation based on Monte Carlo simulation method, In order to determine the frequency interference protection research conclusion and give the interference solutions under different circumstances. This topic is from the project named FDD interference Analysis and Research Project in the Telecommunications Research Institute. This paper first analyses the research background, and presents the third generation mobile communication system characteristics and the developing situation briefly. Second, analyses the interference research method of mobile communication system coexistence, mainly analyses Monte Carlo simulation method used for mobile communication systems coexistence simulation, then the simulation platform are given and main modules are specificly analysed, particularly analyses simulation processes and the simulation results and analysis are given. Finally the simulation results are summarized and the interfere solutions are put forward. Some aspects that need further investigations are mentioned at the end.
