Intelligent network technology development is required by the telecom evolution and the diversified, individualized services. However, the traditional intelligent network can't open the capability of telecom networks to the third party, because of its close technology architecture, special services developing mode and so on. Openness is one of the evolution directions of telecom networks.Open Services Architecture has been highly highlighted in the research field. It defines an open service interface set which enables third party services providers to develop services easily. This new service providing model will bring new types of services and applications in the next generation network.Parlay/OSA provides a set of open API independent of network which are abstraction and encapsulation of the network resources. Theses API enable service providers to develop transplantable and network independent application without knowing the details of the telecom network. Parlay X API combines Parlay and Web Services. Services Access Gateway interface standard is developed based on the Parlay X Web Services Specification V2.0 by China Telecom, the development of value-added services is becoming convenient by making use it.In this paper, a Parlay X gateway and the protocols used by message services interface in the gateway is introduced. Message protocol mapping implementation as a key technology in the gateway is realized detail.
