The Therory And Research Of TD-SCDMA Terminal Radio Commformance Test

This thesis describes the works that author has taken on when participated in the project of Development of TD-SCDMA Terminal Test Set SP 60110. TD-SCDMA terminal Test Set, which integrates and achieves the functions of System simulator, signal generator and signal analyzer, can accomplish terminal conformance test including RF and protocol conformance test and provide many useful functions, such as the generation of CW signal, downlink physical channels, the call setup, release and panging, power control, etc. In the project, author is responsible for researching, designing and implementing all RF conformance testing cases including radio transmition and reception according to 3rd GPP 34.122. The main conten of this paper are organized as below:1. In the beginning of this thesis the developing background of the third generation mobile telecommunication is reviewed, and the technical characteristics of TD-SCDMA are introduced.2. Introduce the whole design scheme of TD-SCDMA test set, especially emphasizes the performance parameters of test set. The key RF hardware modules embedded in this test set and software architecture has been described.3. Since the basic TD-SCDMA physic layer knowledge and digital signal processing theory is necessary for the R&D of TD-SCDMA conformance test so the algorithm requirements has been analyzed.4. The main aim of this thesis is focused on the development flow of all the TD-SCDMA conformance test cases according to protocol so we introduce the definition and meaning of test cases and detailed algorithms in chapter 5. At the end part of this thesis we alsosummarize the experience in the progress of project development.The content of the paper has been applied in the design and implementation of the SP6010. So far, SP6010 has passed a lot of verification, and has been used in many TD-SCDMA IC and terminal manufacturers.
