The Solution To Building The TD-SCDMA UE Protocal Conformance Testing Platform

With the rapid development of mobile communication, the research on the 3rd generation mobile communication becomes the hotspot in the telecommunication field , and the TD-SCDMA standard with independent intellectual property right of our own country has been proposed. Due to the advantage of TDD principle, more and more manufacturers and telecom operators pay attention to this technology. On the condition, the author participated in the research and development of the "TD-SCDMA Terminal Test Set SP6010".TD-SCDMA Terminal Test Set SP6010 is developed for the test of TD-SCDMA terminals on the product lines. It can not only exactly measure the physical layer indexes of terminals, but also simulate the signaling function of Node B, RNC and the core network to drive terminals into different test state.The author has been responsible for the high protocol stack layer function realization at the first and second stage of the R&D of SP6010. The main task is the research of TD-SCDMA high protocol stack realization, and the design of SP6010 protocol testing platform functional modules.In this thesis, we introduce a basic concept of protocol conformance test, and propose a function of TD-SCDMA user equipment (UE) testing platform. We give the framework architecture, functions and implementation technique. We also present an example to illustrate how the platform simulates network to process protocol conformance testing using TTCN.
