Due to the unique environment and the continuous accident of the mine, there is a major problem that plagued the people about the safety production, managing and rescuing miners under the mine. To solve this problem, this paper researches the Subceface Personnel Localization System with RFID (Radio Frequency Identification technology) that is a new wireless communication technology. Because of its widely application, more and more people focus on this field. The technology can be used to automatic identify the miners information, collect environment data around and make the ground control room to get information on-timely, which can raise the information level of the coal mine greatly and provide the basis information for management and rescuing.First, the whole system is analyzed. The anti-collision algorithms of RFID have been researched and an improved algorithm has been proposed, which under the unknown total, estimates the number of tags dynamicly and select suitable slot size to gain higher efficiency. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm is effectively and accurately compared with conventional ALOHA algorithm. Then, I make an investigation on the antenna of reader, have designed the matching circuit at the end, estimate the distance signals propagating in the earth and determine 915MHz as the system working frequency. A detailed schems of the RFFID system in the mine consists of hardware and softward. According to specific request underground circumstances, I analyses and designs a database system and corresponding application software.Though the RFID analysed and designed us use in coal mines, both hardware and software have versatility in some degree. For other occasion, such ascelecting data by wireless conmmunication, they also can be used for application developing.
