Motion control is such a kind of technology that integrated control technology with computer technology with computer technology in order to achieve real time control of the moving motors.Motion control technology consists of trajectory planning and servo control technology.That is the integration of computer technique,micro-electronics and control technology.The function of high speed and high precision motion control technology become greater and greater in modern industrial equipment.In recent years,the tendency with small volume and high density of IC chips has been fueling the tendency with small volume and high density of IC chips has been fueling the demand for IC manufacturing equipments with high speed and high precision characteristics.And the traditional motion controller can't meet the challenge of the high-speed and high-accuracy.As long as the reliability can be maintained,a new motion controller is more desirable.This research investigated motion control technology and analyzed motion controller structure.Then designed the hardware and software of the embedded motion controller based on SOPC.This research explored an embedded motion controller design method based on IP reused technology and provided the design flow of IP soft core in addition,conformation a new kind of embedded motion controller utilize cosmically FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array).Via modeling the control arithmetic,describe the model with VHDL(Very high speed integrated Hardware Description Language).SOPC, which is the combination of PLD and ASIC technology, integrates the hard core, especially soft core, DSP, memory, peripheral I/O and programmable logic units. There are the flexibility of application and advantage in price of SOPC. The powerful, the scalable, portable SOPC, the powerful IP libraries and excellent modularization design can realize better opening and more efficient controller.
